Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is a purposefully conservative Fan Edition flagship focused on the known virtues rather than a hardware retooling. The device's identity couldn't be more clear: The phone comes with Samsung's new Exynos 2500 chipset, a wider 12MP built-in selfie camera, and the same 6.7-inch OLED screen, 4,900mAh battery and triple-camera system on the Galaxy S25 FE.
The 6.7" panel continues to be of major interest, boasting a large, comfortable viewing area, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Samsung's professional AMOLED display quality. The chassis is also getting a facelift, featuring more vivid finishes, updated color schemes, and elevated camera area that helps to keep the FE in line with the Galaxy S26 camp of the mainstream line. Meanwhile, the phone features a usable 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charger support, so battery durability and charging is a good selling point.

The Exynos 2500 is an update on Exynos 2400, which was found in the Samsung S25 FE, and provides a new base for apps, games, and AI workloads on Samsung's platforms. The software package is arguably more consequential, adding features such as My FanCam, Audio Eraser, Horizontal Lock improvements, Now Brief, and Now Nudge. These capabilities make the device feel more current without requiring the extensive hardware changes found in Samsung’s flagship S26 models.
Yet the FE designation still involves meaningful compromises. The phone keeps 8GB of RAM, lacks the S Pen and adds a lower-resolution display in comparison to the S26 Plus, and it is not equipped with the more sophisticated camera gear seen at the flagship family. In conclusion, Galaxy S26 FE can be seen as a pragmatic approach from Samsung, marrying up the known beauty of its design and hardware features with intentional new features.
